| | | | | | Introducing The Kelu Project Blog
| | | I’m thrilled to share something special — The Kelu Project Blog is officially live! 🎉
| | | This new space is where creativity meets strategy, and where I’ll share practical tips, insights, and honest reflections to help brands tell their stories with confidence, clarity, and heart.
| | | As I am launching, let’s take a quick look back at my first two featured reads:
| | |
| | | Your Story Deserves to Be Heard: Why PR Matters for Cause-Driven Businesses
| | |
| | | | | | You’ve poured your heart into your business — the mission, the values, the people you serve. You’ve stayed up late refining your message, ensuring every decision reflects your purpose. And yet, sometimes, it feels like no one really knows your story.
| | | Here’s the truth: no matter how meaningful your work is, impact needs visibility. And that’s where Public Relations (PR) comes in.
| | | At The Kelu Project, we believe that every purpose-led business deserves to be heard. Your story isn’t just something to tell; it’s something to share — with the right people, in the right way, at the right time.
| | | | | | Stories That Stick: When to Blog and When to Go Big with a Feature
| | |
| | | | | | You have ideas worth sharing — updates, insights, experiences, and expertise that help your audience connect with what you do. But here’s the question every storyteller eventually faces: Should this be a quick blog post, or a full feature article? Both are powerful tools in your storytelling toolkit. The difference lies not in what you say, but how deeply you want to take your readers into the story.
| | | | | | The blog is just getting started, and I can’t wait to share more stories, resources, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the creative world of branding, writing, and PR.
| | | Stay tuned — the best chapters are yet to come. 💛

| | | | | | Who Am I?
| | | An Entrepreneur
| | | | | | I am new to the world of business. This is my first start-up. I worked as a waitress and barista for many years before I entered education. I graduated in journalism, public relations, web development and eventually project management.
| | | What Am I?
| | | Your PBA - Personal Business Assistant
| | | | | | I work for your business. You tell me what you want. My services can help you with your business ideas and plans and assist your next big project or event.
| | | My Story
| | | | | | Years ago, my life changed forever when I was separated from my son Luke. The project is in honor of him, and so is the name of our first start-up. Kelu means tongue-tied, or speechless because of fear or worry, but it is also an anagram for my son's name. This painful journey taught me the true value of fighting for the voices that deserve to be heard and for what matters. The importance of telling stories that matter is ancient and has always been something that could shape and change difficult lives.
| | | | | | Today, through The Kelu Project, I would like to help others amplify their stories, lift up their voices and accomplish their mission. Some businesses are born from opportunity. Mine was born from hope, resilience, and love. This is more than a business — it's my life's purpose. Thank you for being part of this journey.
|
|
| | In just 2 months, I have started my first business and I am making my dreams come true.
| | | My motto: “Don't ever give up.”

| | | | | | Hack of the month:
| | | Build Smart, Grow Steady
| | | Running a business is all about balance — strategy, structure, and a little heart. Here are three simple hacks to keep things flowing smoothly this month:
| | | 1. Set One Clear Weekly Goal
| | | Instead of chasing ten tasks at once, choose one key focus each week. You’ll get more done (and feel far less overwhelmed).
| | | 2. Nurture, Don’t Just Network
| | | Follow up with people you’ve already met. A simple “How are things going?” can open new doors faster than a cold introduction ever will.
| | | 3. Automate the Little Things
| | | Use scheduling tools or templates for emails, posts, and invoices. Freeing up small bits of time adds up — giving you space to think big.
